Development Process
Philosophy of Elite Development
Decades of elite training of players from pre-hockey to USHL, D 1 and beyond.
Highlights include:
- 10,000's of practices,
- 10;000's power skating and skill sessions,
- 8 players who have played in the NHL. Five who learned from Bill from starting at mite age.
- Many high school, prep school, AAA, junior and college athletes.
While many instructors are 'experimenting' on their students, with no idea if their theories or drills will work, Bill has decades of development experience and a clear understanding of what makes a real Hockey Player!
Philosophy Of Elite Development:
- Improve skills related to: Skate full speed with the puck; able to change directions, head up, under pressure making a play. McDavid skills.
- Develop strong defensive defensemen skills related to agility/mobility in any direction, head up reading the play and with the ability to defend and cover 1 on 1's on all situations. Jacob Slavin.
- Learn how to control the puck, reading the play while staying or skating into open areas of the ice. Patrick Kane.
Does your instructor understand what type of player you are?
